in various Microsoft Ascend Programs including
Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, Windows Vista,
.NET 3.0, BizTalk Server 2006 Jumpstart R2 –
2006. Polaris is also a Microsoft India Launch
partner for Visual Studio 2008, Windows Server
2008 and SQL Server 2008. Polaris solutions built
using cutting edge Microsoft technologies have
been a key part of these launch events. Polaris

The Microsoft Technology Community
Program, intended to build a technology community
within the campus provides a unique opportunity
for Polarities to connect, share, learn and stay
updated on Microsoft technologies. Sessions are
conducted by various technology specialists in
specialized Microsoft Technologies like MOSS,
BI and CRM in which Polarities actively participate
and contribute.
Polaris also regularly takes part
in Microsoft Technology events and programs like
Campus launches, Virtual tech days and Metro programs
amongst others.
Apart from these technology initiatives,
the partnership also focuses on visionary Industry
initiatives.
One such initiative is the recent
launch of Polaris Microsoft Insurance Concept
lab with a thoughtful vision to enable the Insurance
industry, meet the challenges posed by changing
market dynamics and technology requirements.
A joint effort by Polaris and Microsoft,
the concept lab aims to continually innovate valuable
business solutions for insurance industry, by
reflecting on the current industry trends, providing
solutions in the latest Microsoft technologies.
Currently the Insurance Lab offers
6 customizable solutions addressing key business
challenges in chosen technologies. By reducing
technology risks on new cutting edge technologies
and ensuring quicker time to market at reduced
costs the concept lab envisages an integrated,
agile insurance organization.
